TattooApparel.com and the Perpetual Vogue Store are known for working with aspiring models in the Southern California area. We receive many email requests from customers, fans and aspiring models in other parts of the Country asking if they can model for us. This is not normally feasible as we prefer to shoot at our own location and at other local area locations using our favorite local photographers. In the last quarter of 2010 we decided to have a National Model Search Contest in order to give any legal resident of the United States who is over the age of 21 who has not modeled for us in the past the opportunity to win a spot modeling for us at a professional photo shoot in January 2011.
We chosee two winners, Beau from MA and Adrienne from KY from the entrants. The winners received airline tickets to Southern California, four nights in a Hotel near our Store/Warehouse, Hair and Makeup Services the day of the photo shoot, a Professional Photo Shoot for TattooApparel.com and a wardrobe prize package valued at $1,000.00.
We like working with other Southern California companies to support local business. The additional prize sponsors for this contest were all Southern California Companies. T.U.K. Shoes supplied three pair of shoes to each winner. Femme Metale Sterling Silver Jewelry sponsored by giving each winner up to $200.00 worth of their Sterling Silver Jewelry. Rock House Clothing is a new Southern California based clothing line that we are just starting to offer in our boutique. Rock House supplied shirts to the male contest winner. Tres Noir Sunglasses are the only brand of glasses we carry on our site. Tres Noir supplied each winner with two pair of glasses of their choice. Cartel Ink is a popular brand of ladies shirt on TattooApparel.com. Cartel Ink has just come out with some new men's designs also and they gave several shirts to both winners. Our own Perpetual Vogue Brand supplied the female winner with several outfits and TattooApparel.com supplied denim for the male winner. Hair and Makeup Services were courtesy of Primarily Hair Salon in La Habra California. Makeup Artist Gianna Collica attended the Photo Shoot to be in charge of makeup styling during the shoot. Professional Photographer was courtesy of Painted Pinups of La Habra. Painted Pinups specializes in unique Pin Up Style Photographer but their photographer, Chad Scott also specialized in product and lifestyle photos shoots for our company.
